Hot and Spicy Hush Puppies

My friends and I made these last night to go with our dinner and they were AWESOME!! We loved, loved, loved them. We decided that it was the best homemade hush puppy recipe that we have ever tried. OH, and the orange marmalade sauce just set it off. We loved the spiciness of the hush puppies and then the sweetness of the sauce. It was a perfect combination and I will definitely be making these again(and it was really easy too!)

Mix all the ingredients together into a large mixing bowl to form a thick batter.

Dip 2 tablespoon spoons into water. Using the spoons scoop up some of the batter and drop into the hot oil. Work in batches. Fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden and brown. Remove and drain on a paper towel lined sheet tray. Serve with dipping sauce.
